There were a lot of good hitting performances last night, so picking out one was impossible. I decided that Yesterday’s Hitter Award would be shared by two teammates who were unstoppable! Colorado Rockies first baseman Justin Morneau and centerfielder Charlie Blackmon went a combined 8 for 9 last night with 2 home runs and 8 RBI’s. They out hit, and out scored, the entire LA Dodgers team in the Rockies 16-2 win last night.
